Application
1. Coatings & Resins: Used for synthesis of saturated / unsaturated polyesters, alkyd resins and water-borne resins. It improves weather resistance, hydrolysis resistance and heat resistance of paint films, applicable to automotive coatings, wood coatings and industrial coatings.
2. Plasticizer Intermediates: Synthesize plasticizers such as dodecyl esters and hexadecyl esters for PVC, plastics and adhesives to improve processability and flexibility.
3. Polyurethane (PU): Acts as a diol monomer to produce PU resins, elastomers and sealants, enhancing low-temperature resistance and anti-aging performance.
4. Other Applications: Printing inks (solvent / dispersant), synthetic fragrances, surfactants, insect repellents, extractants, paper sizing agents, etc.
