    Product Description

    1. Important Raw Material for Methoxysilanes 
    This product is insoluble in water and undergoes slow hydrolysis upon contact with water. However, it readily hydrolyzes and crosslinks under acidic or alkaline conditions.
    2. Crosslinking Agent for Epoxy FRP 
    This product exhibits excellent coupling effects on epoxy fiberglass-reinforced plastics (FRP). It is also widely used as a reinforcing agent and crosslinking agent in composites, inks, adhesives, sealants and other materials.
    3. Rubber Processing Additive 
    The product can be used to couple inorganic fillers in various halogenated rubbers, such as polychloroprene rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, etc., so as to improve their physical and mechanical properties.
    4. Raw Material for Organosilicon Compounds 
    It is used to synthesize organosilicon compounds containing quaternary ammonium salt cations, which act as mildew-proof and deodorant finishing agents with special bactericidal, deodorant, antistatic and surface-active properties. 
    The Si–OR bonds can chemically bond with hydroxyl-containing substrates via hydrolysis and condensation, thereby improving wash resistance and effectiveness. 
    Organosilicon quaternary ammonium salts can also be used as antistatic agents, blood coagulants, marine antifouling agents, liquid crystal alignment agents, and electrical control agents in developers for electronic copying machines.
