1. Primary use in electroplating:
Benzalacetone is a key brightening agent for acid zinc plating processes, widely used in potassium chloride/ammonium chloride systems. It produces bright, uniform zinc coatings across a wide range of current densities and temperatures, significantly improving corrosion resistance for automotive parts, bicycle components, and hardware products.
2. Flavor & fragrance industry:
