    1. Excellent rheological properties of drilling fluid
    Petroleum-grade xanthan gum is a high-molecular-weight biopolymer with extremely strong viscosity-increasing and shear-thickening capabilities. A very low dosage can significantly increase the viscosity and shear force of the drilling fluid, preventing well wall collapse, stuck pipe and other downhole accidents, and perfectly meeting the rheological requirements of drilling operations.

    It can maintain a stable viscosity-increasing effect in high-salt (saturated brine) and high-calcium-magnesium-ion environments, and its salt resistance far exceeds that of common hydroxyethyl cellulose and other polymers.     1. Oil and gas drilling operations
    As the core thickening and cutting agent, and the anti-filtering agent for water-based drilling fluids / muds, it is used in various drilling operations such as conventional oil and gas wells, deep wells, ultra-deep wells, horizontal wells and shale gas wells.
    2. Completion and well repair operations
    It is used for thickening the completion fluid and well repair fluid to enhance the suspension ability of the working fluid, prevent the sedimentation of solid particles, and ensure the smooth progress of operations such as pipe string lowering and perforation during well completion.
    3. Other oilfield-related scenarios
    It is used for profile adjustment and water shutoff, as well as in the fracturing fluid system. As a thickening agent, it increases the viscosity of the fracturing fluid, carries the support particles, and optimizes the fracturing effect;
    It is also used for oilfield wastewater treatment, as a flocculation aid to assist in sludge dewatering and improve the efficiency of wastewater treatment.
