Samples of core UV‑curable monomers SAMREAL® Tripropylene Glycol Diacrylate (TPGDA) and Pentaerythritol Triacrylate (PETA) have arrived.
Both TPGDA and PETA are used in UV resin synthesis, as well as in various coatings, inks and adhesives, however, they serve different priorities. TPGDA focuses on reducing viscosity and toughening films, while PETA concentrates on cross‑linking reinforcement and accelerating curing.
TPGDA is a difunctional acrylate monomer. With low skin irritation, low shrinkage rate and high reactivity, it imparts satisfactory flexibility and stability to UV‑cured films.
Typical applications: metal‑furniture coatings, 3D‑printing UV‑curable resin
PETA is a trifunctional acrylate monomer featuring fast curing speed, high hardness, high cross‑linking density and excellent wear resistance.
Typical applications: high‑temperature label adhesives, heat‑resistant electronic‑encapsulation materials
