Properties & Applications:

1. The PPG series is soluble in organic solvents such as toluene, ethanol, and trichloroethylene. PPG 200, 400, and 600 are soluble in water, featuring lubricating, solubilizing, defoaming, and antistatic properties. PPG-200 can be used as a dispersant for pigments.
2. In cosmetics, PPG 400 is used as an emollient, softener, and lubricant.
3. Used as a defoamer in coatings and hydraulic oils, a defoamer in synthetic rubber and latex processing, a refrigerant and coolant for heat transfer fluids, and a viscosity improver.
4. Serves as an intermediate for esterification, etherification, and polycondensation reactions.
5. Used as a release agent, solubilizer, and additive for synthetic oils. It is applied as an additive in water-soluble cutting fluids, roller oils, and hydraulic oils, as a high-temperature lubricant, and as an internal and external lubricant for rubber.
