Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is an oxide of zinc, commonly known as zinc white. Its Chinese aliases include zinc oxygen powder, zinc white, zinc white powder, zinc flower, zinc suboxide, zinc silver, zinc monoxide, hydrozincite, etc. It appears as a white or slightly yellow fine powder, insoluble in water, but soluble in acids and strong alkalis.
